Where would I get my 1993 VW Eurovan an engine overhaul?
Not too critical. The Eurovan engine isn’t all that special. It’s basically your regular pistons and bearings and valves. Just make sure the place has done overhead valve aluminum engines before. There may be a few places that are strictly iron-v8 overhaulers and you don’t want them having to learn on your engine. Also depending on the mileage, you might just need new valve and intake seals, a much cheaper to-do than an full overhaul. If it burns oil mainly on startup and/or is hard to start, it may be the seals.
