Where would i find yew wood in ohio?
your not going to, yew trees do not grow in the USA, and you don’t have to use yew wood, I’m trying to make a long bow my self and found that lemon wood will work to but that grows in the south. and hemlock, it very like yew wood, like a sister tree. not to sure but hemlock grows all over Vermont here looks like a pine tree only its needles are short and flat, like a hand, and if you turn it over it will be lighter green with two white lines. I”m trying it now.or go to the east and ask the English if they will give ya some. well i hoped i helped.
