Where will you be December 21 2012 at 1 pm central time zone?
You do realize that’s more than two years from now, don’t you? According to my calendar, that’s the Friday before Christmas. Assuming that I still have a job by then (or, even if I don’t), I’ll probably be taking the day off, and driving the family to my parent’s house for the long weekend. Ideally, we would have left early in the morning and we’d be almost there. More likely though, we will have been packing ’till noon, and just starting on our journey. Lots of things could change between now and then though. Maybe we’ll break with the usual routine, and maybe we’ll visit my folks for Thanksgiving and we’ll visit my wife’s family at Christmas time. Maybe we’ll be doing something altogether different. Lots of things can change. Oh, and for whatever it’s worth, any reputable astrophysicist will tell you that our Sun is not the kind of star that is able to “explode into a nova.
