Where will the schools proposed in the referendum be constructed?
The district has already announced the sites for the first four schools proposed in the referendum. One elementary school, scheduled to open in Fall 2007, will be constructed in the Crossings of Wolf Creek subdivision in the northwest portion of the district. Another elementary school, also scheduled to open in Fall 2007, will be constructed adjacent to Aux Sable Middle School (scheduled to open in Fall 2006) in the Windsor Ridge subdivision in the southwest portion of the district. A middle school, scheduled to open in Fall 2007, would be built just north of the Foxridge Farms subdivision on Essington Road in the northeast portion of the district. Finally, a high school, scheduled to open in Fall 2008, would be constructed on the southeast corner of 119th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road, also in the northeast portion of the district.
