Western Conference: San Jose Sharks There is not a better one-two punch at centre in the entire league than Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau — throw in the fact this club has solid goaltending and a lot of young players hitting their prime, and the Sharks will be feeding. Stanley Cup Champion San Jose Sharks I thought the Sharks were the best team entering last season’s playoffs, and I’m sticking with them this time around. Hart Trophy: Sidney Crosby I have a feeling Sid the Kid will finish on top of the scoring race this season, and that will be enough to win the Hart. Ovechkin may get more goals (again), but this time Crosby will take home the hardware.
