The site for the new landfill has already been selected by the Guam Solid Waste Management Division and approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Guam Environmental Protection Agency. The new site is at Layon Inarajan, Guam. The Government of Guam has already begun acquiring the necessary land.
