Where will the incisions and scars be placed for the Mastopexy procedure?
During the Mastopexy procedure, the incisions may vary tremendously depending on the amount of lifting required. For minimal lifts, the incisions are placed very inconspicuously for barely noticeable scarring. Incisions may be placed around the border of the areola, either partially or circumferentially, down the center of the breast directly beneath the areola and/or in the natural folds of the breast, depending on your breast size, the amount of lifting, and Dr. Placik’s preference.
