• Each year CCEA will collate the outcomes in Communication, Application of Number and ICT in Northern Ireland schools. The data can then be re-organised to provide a range of statistics based on a Northern Ireland average, for example, for Northern Ireland as a whole or by school type eg a girls’ grammar school or a boys’ secondary school. • As the profile of any school is not likely to change significantly from year to year, the previous year’s data can be used as the benchmark for comparison with the current year.
