Where will schools that do not have grade levels tested by MEAP get their AYP status?
When one or more schools feed into a single receiving school, AYP will be assigned from the receiving school to the feeder school(s). The feeder school(s) will have an opportunity to appeal the assigned AYP if they have other appropriate assessment data indicating that they are making adequate progress. Beginning in 2004-05, this will only affect buildings that do not have grades above grade 2, since MEAP tests will be administered in grades 3-8 and high school.
