Where will OSI call home?
Objective Systems Integrators Inc. is clearly a company on the move. The question is where? This week, the software manufacturer is expected to decide whether to remain in Folsom or relocate to south Placer County to accommodate its fast growth. The company has narrowed its choices to two sites in Folsom, one in Roseville and one in Rocklin’s Stanford Ranch, said Dave Allen, chief financial officer. “We’re working with Folsom to see if they want us,” he said, declining to elaborate. “If not, Stanford Ranch is a pretty viable project.” In recent months, Stanford Ranch has successfully wooed Oracle Corp., the Silicon Valley software giant, and VeriFone Inc., the world’s largest provider of electronic payment software. OSI, which makes network management software, is growing fast. It employs 275 now, but wants to build an office that can accommodate up to 600 workers within three years.
