Where will i locate the radiator cooling fan switch on a 1998 vectra V6?
I,d know it if i looked under the bonnet. in any case there meant to come on automaticly (heat activated) I suggest you look for the thermostat housing and there should be a temperature sender switch nearby you can see the sender wich reacts to the temperature of the cooling system and sends a signal to the relay of the fan wich will kick into action when a certain temperature is met. the wiring from the fan will be connected to a relay else where it can handle more power via a relay(solenoid) if your thermostat is removed your fan may not even kick in at all as the engine never really warms up properly. hope this helps you a little.
