The UK dates are supposedly as a warm up for a major US tour to begin sometime in November. McBride’s album “Shine” hit the number one spot on Billboard’s Top Country Album chart earlier this year. McBride’s schedule for the UK performances begins in London on July 31st, with six shows each in Northern Ireland and the Republic from August 2nd through the 8th. According to the news from Billboard, RCA will release “Shine” to those markets on July 27th. According to McBride, wife and mother of three kids, her time for touring has become so limite, which explains her absence from the UK for so long. The buzz doing the rounds at the entertainment scene in London the past few days is that country singer Martina McBride is going to embark on a lavish tour of the UK and Ireland. This will be the first time almost in a decade (15 years approx) that McBride is setting off for UK in order to hold a concert there. The UK tour is supposedly going to be acting the part of a warm up session, prior to her US tour, that is scheduled in some months time, in November this year.
