For one night only, the Ft. Lauderdale Improv is featuring the comedy group Broken Lizard as a special engagement on August 25. Broken Lizard is best known for its films Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest. I personally haven’t seen any of these films, but have to admit they looked pretty hilarious. The five members of Broken Lizard are Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske. They collaboratively write, act and produce their films, with Jay Chandrasekhar and Kevin Heffernan directing. Apparently, back in the 90’s the group earned a spot at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival with their first long-form film, The Tinfoil Monkey Agenda, a media spoof. I won’t be able to make it to the show, but if you do, let me know how it is. Sources: htt
