Where will clinicals be conducted for the Netwon ADN program?
Clinical experiences at the RN level require a population of patients who are more acutely ill and these experiences are more reliably available in larger metropolitan hospitals. Due to limited availability of specialty units (pediatrics, obstetrics, mental health and medical-surgical) students should expect to have evening clinical rotations during the ADN year. Newton ADN students should expect to travel to the Des Moines metro area for clinicals one to two evenings per week.
