Where will Canada Border Services Agency process my shipments once it arrives in Canada?
Most shipments are processed at the border point (highway border, rail border, international airport, seaport, or customs mail centre). However, you can choose to have your goods released at an inland office, which is a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) office not located at the border. Only carriers who have posted security with the CBSA (bonded carriers) can transport non-duty-paid goods between points in Canada. International mail is only processed and released at three customs mail centres across Canada.
