WHERE WILL CAIRNS AND MACKAY CLUB MEMBERS GO TO RACE & HOW WILL IT IMPACT ON THESE MEMBERS?
Members of the Cairns and Mackay Club along with general Industry participants currently race at Townsville as they choose. Members of these clubs can exercise their choice to continue to race their greyhounds at Townsville and benefit from the improvements that TAB and SKY will bring to that Club. 5. HOW WILL CLOSURE OF THESE CLUBS IMPACT ON OTHER CLUBS THROUGHOUT QUEENSLAND? Closure of these clubs will strengthen the Queensland Greyhound Racing Industry in a number of ways. It will allow for wider exposure paving the way for greater local investment through the TAB on greyhound racing in Northern Queensland. This will also allow for funding to be reinvested back into the industry by way of increased prize money along with the abolition of nomination fees. 6.
