Where will a deer mouse build its nest?
Mice like to build nests in houses, barns, sheds and any shelter near fields. Outdoors, deer mouse can build its nest in a number of different locations such as around fence posts, under decks, bird and squirrel nests, tree hollows and woodpiles. Mouse nests can be found near food places such as lower kitchen cabinets, grain bins, or in warm areas such as basements, attics, storage area, wall voids, sill plates can be option for deer mouse to build nests in homes.
