If you have a passport issued by the United States of America, the United Kingdom, a European Union country, or Canada, you may purchase a one-month tourist visa at the airport in Cairo for USD15. Although Egyptian immigration authorities may decide to permit or deny entry to any individual person, if you are from one of these countries, you do not need to buy a visa before coming to Cairo. You will use the one-month tourist visa that you purchase at the airport to enter Egypt. Once you are in Cairo, our office will assist you with acquiring the appropriate longer-term visa.
