Where We e Where – NASCAR Driver or College Professor?

One of the articles or features you will encounter in this section is NASCAR drivers being asked about their New Year’s resolutions. Let me quote the last sentence of what Tony Stewart said regarding his resolution, “That’s what we’re going to focus on, trying to get Ryan (Newman) and I in a position WHERE WE’RE WHERE Jimmie (Johnson) and Mark (Martin) were this year.” Where we’re where? Raise your hand if you have ever heard that phrase in sentence and my blog does not count. I think Tony Stewart just invented a new phrase. Quotes like this from Tony are the reason people think NASCAR drivers are not the brightest humans in the world. Quotes like this also show the intelligence of NASCAR fans. I am a NASCAR fan and I cannot tell you if ‘where we’re where’ is correct or incorrect regarding grammatical standards. I just like saying ‘whe
