Where were segregationists when people were being taken by force from Africa to North America?
Even the most extreme segregationists should be satisfied that the Atlantic ocean is a sufficient amount of space to segregate people in North America from people in Africa. Furthermore, if segregationists are truly opposed to slavery, then they would have had an ideal opportunity to demonstrate their opposition to slavery.
