There is no way to know where the “first” asteroid strike occurred on the Earth “3.5 billion years ago”. The Earth has been being hit by asteroids since it formed (that’s how it acquired most of its mass). Since the Earth is 4.6 billion years old and the crustal plates have been moving since they were first formed, most of the craters created by asteroid strikes have been subducted under the crust or have been weathered away by billions of years of wind and rain, earthquakes, mountain building, and ocean formation.
