Where was Lazarus and what was he doing that God had to call him forth 3 times?
A. Actually, God never called Lazarus 3 times, it’s just folklore. In Jn 11:43, Jesus calls him once. There are 7 instances in Scripture of God calling Man more than once at a time. They are, sequentially: Gen 22:11(Abraham), Gen 46:2(Jacob), Ex 3:4(Moses), 1Sa 3:10(Samuel), Lk 10:41(Martha), Lk 22:31(Simon), and Ac 9:4(Saul).
