Actually however his birthplace was not Arpinum but about five miles to the northwest, where the little river Fibreno runs into the Liri, at a point about halfway between the historical town of Sora and the modern Isola Liri…’ (I’ve never heard of Tusculanum, but Tuscanum, also known as Etruria, was a separate region to the north that had ruled Rome during the Age of Kings. I think there must be some confusion here, Cicero was not Etruscan.
