Where to live in Bristol?

My ideal neighborhood would include these characteristics: Affordable, Close to main roads, Close to public transportation (trains, bus, etc) Close to pubs, shops, a nightlife. Safe, (I want to be able to walk to my car at night without getting anxious, or with out waking up one morning to find out it’s been broken into or robbed.) I’m moving to Bristol first of next month and just want a head start on places to look at!
