Where to Listen to Steel Drum Music?
Steel drums, traditionally created by hammering dents into a standard 55-gallon steel drum, originated in Trinidad in the mid-19th century. Currently, the distinctive sound is popular worldwide and can be heard in a myriad of places. Songs range from island tunes to classical music as the steel drums can play any note—instruments include the lead, double seconds, double guitars, triple cellos, tenor bass and six bass.
