Where to invest in Real Estate?
The real estate market is down by 20% or more. In several states the foreclosure rates are downright scary. Each weekend auction houses try to sell hundreds of homes at bargain prices. Tens of thousands of homes are in various stages of foreclosure in each of these depressed markets. Excellent bargains can be found at these auctions, provided you are planning to move into the house and stay there for a couple of years until the market turns around. These are NOT investment opportunities.
