Where to go on holiday in october???
Most of the ‘Med’ is at the end of its season in October and marry that with the slight change in seasons in recent years (look at the recent floods in Greece and snow in Turkey), the Med is going to be a bit of a risk. Egypt has a lot going for it – but you don’t say what type of holiday you want (quiet/lots to do). Egypt has a lot of different options, dependant on the resort. I would recommend Tenerife also. It isn’t that far, good climate, not too expensive and you can choose quiet/busy by resort and has a fantastic landscape. Most of the beaches are natural dark sand and that can put some people off (no idea why myself, its quite dramatic). You could check out the other Canary Islands or even Madiera, but Madiera is a little more pricey and doesn’t have too many beaches, due to it being so mountainous – very nice though!
