Where to go for a holiday in cornwall camping walking distance to beach village pubs and restaurants?
If you want to go camping, it is unlikely there will be too much choice for pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Towns with facilities like that don’t usually have camping sites so near a populated area. If you are looking at villages there won’t be much choice of what you want. You could try Looe. Padstow is nice, but expensive, and I don’t know of any camping sites within walking distance. Polzeath any good? Or Bude? Newquay may have what you want, but locals find it a bit tacky. Most camping sites have their own club with meals and bars. Pentewan, near St Austell, is in a village with a pub, and there was another restaurant the last time I went there. You could go by bus into Mevagissey for fishing. Try websites for John Fowler Holidays and Park Dean Holidays. Both have several sites. If you would consider North Devon, there is Braddicks Holiday Camp at Westward Ho! That village has accessible eateries etc, and you can go by bus to Bideford for fishing by boat, or sea-fish
