Where To Get Ideas For A Novel?
Start with short stories, sometimes they evolve into novels later. Buy a book about writing that includes exercises that may help get the gears turning. Elizabeth George does a decent one called “Write Away”. She goes through how to do various portions of the book, and also talks about what she finds is most helpful to her to actually get that writing done.
