Where to get 80s clothes for a party tonight?
Charity shops might be good but you never know what might be lurking in the back of the closets of relatives. I have found some awesome shoulder-padded numbers in my mums wardrobe before now. There are also costume shops that specialize in collecting retro clothes. I don’t remember the name but there was a big warehouse full of clothes- I’m sure I found it by googling or looking through the yellow pages so it shouldn’t be hard to find. There are also some shops in town (where I live at least) that have more old-fashioned clothes… ‘Hobo’s I think it’s called 😛 You can always try googling images from the 80’s and putting together an 80s inspired outfit with new clothes. Leg warmers could be got from Primark (about £1), a denim mini and one of those baggy off-the-shoulder type tops that have been around for quite a bit now (ones with slogans on). I’m pretty sure you can get those cheaply from Primark too! A good costume doesn’t have to be expensive! a lot of 80s style is coming back in
