Where to find data about carbon (CO2) effect of manufactured products?
I would like to find organizations, services or websites from which I could acquire values of carbon dioxide (CO2) or carbon dioxide equivalent (CDE) emitted during the manufacture, distribution and disposal of various manufactured products. I am looking for values for hundreds of most common products, but pointers to information about less common products is also welcome. The CO2 value can be an average for certain type of products (for example sofas) or more derailed information on a specific product (for example 2 person leather sofa). Naturally the CO2 emissions of two similar products varies depending on the manufacturing methods and materials used, but what I am looking for is approximate ballpark value or range of values.
