Where to find a certified mechanics to check up the used semi- truck?
You can get any semi truck garage to do a complete check on the truck (cost will vary call them).Any tractor & trailer repair facility or Tractor dealership can do it. I doubt if one would send anyone out to a location to inspect it on site , Truck will need a current D.O.T inspection & sticker to certify it as road worthy with a mechanic’s / inspectors signature and location of inspection facility ,(as a reminder) a copy of inspection report has to be kept with truck papers / documents. This would all have to be done anyway for you to Transfer and plate the tractor as anew owner .
