SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah Jazz guard Derek Fisher was excused from the Western Conference semifinal opener against Golden State on Monday night to be with his family. “I’ve got some personal family things that we’re dealing with right now involving one of my children. When the time is appropriate, I’ll be able to fully address it,” Fisher said after Monday’s shootaround. “The team’s been great allowing me to take care of things and spend the time that I need to spend with my family and still get back to work when I can.” Fisher and his wife, Candace, have four children, including twins that were born just before Golden State traded him to Utah last summer.
