For those Registered Users that wish to download and use new and updated LAFS patches, you must have the LAFS Refill and LAFS Additions Folder (and sub-folders) located in the top level of your Reason Application Folder. If both files are in this location, regardless of your computer platform, your system should see which LAFS samples the newly downloaded patches are “pointing to.” In short, you will be able to download Artificial Ear’s new and updated LAFS patches, place them in the appropriate LAFS Additions sub-folder, and begin using them. If you do not wish to download additional LAFS patches, you can copy the LAFS Refill from the CD-ROM to a location of your choosing and use the existing library just the same. We suggest using Windows XP, Mac OS 9.2.2, or Mac OS X as your operating system. Although tested on the aforementioned platforms, Artificial Ear makes no guarantees that this method will work for all LAFS Users.
