Where should I stay in London for one night?
YES. Bayswater is a great place to stay. There are TONS of hotels and hostels in that area. You have access to several bus lines heading all over the city. Take the buses when you can…it gives you a chance to see the city! The Hop on, Hop off buses stop on the Bayswater Road. There are several inexpensive restaurants on the main street there near the Bayswater station. Also check out the Whitelys Mall. Particularly go the the Marks & Spencer Dept store inside. The have a great grocery section with fresh prepared salads, sandwiches, desserts – much better prices than the restaurants. I don’t know if I would take the time to see a play.
