Where should I install Marmoleum flooring?
Marmoleum can be installed in any area of your house or office regardless of the grade. Other manufacturers will warn you of installing Marmoleum in your bathroom or kitchen because it has the tendency to react negatively with moisture, but if you choose to coat it with a protective finishing, it will be fine. If you want to install Marmoleum over a floor, you can do so if your sub floor is made up of hardwood or other types of flooring options EXCEPT carpet. Your sub floor should be as smooth and straight as possible in order for your Marmoleum flooring to be smooth and straight too.
