Where should be the main entrance located?
The happiness of the family depends upon the main entrance. The main entrance and the compound wall should be in the same horizontal line. The shadow of any tree or temple should not fall on the house from any side. The main door should always be larger and well decorated than the other doors of the house. However, in apartment, single frame doors maybe acceptable provided it opens on the right side. The main entrance should always open into the house and there should be a threshold for the main door. There should not be any obstructions, like well, TV towers, electrical poles, etc. opposite to the main door. Front doors facing east and north are preferable. For a perfect setting, two shutter doors inside the house is desirable.
