Where on the island is Coast Guard located?
Coast Guard is located on the eastern side of St. George Island, approximately 1.7 miles from the center of the island in the area known as Gulf Beaches East. The home is less than one block from the beginning of the East End, which dead ends into the St. George Island State Park. Our home is on the Gulf (south) side of E. Gulf Beach Drive. One of the reasons we purchased this home is the location on the island the east side of the island has less traffic than the west (The Plantation takes up the western end of the island and results in quite a bit of traffic).
