Where on Mars will the two robotic spacecraft land and why?
From: Coartney Campbell, 8th Grade, Charleston Middle School, Charleston, IL ANSWER: We don’t yet know exactly where the rovers will land. The scientists are making a list of “interesting” place on Mars and have selected several candidate sites. In the coming months, the number of potential landing sites will be narrowed, until two have been selected. The goal is to select sites that are geologically interesting, and places where water may once have been (or may still be). Robert A.
