Where on an I-9 form does a notary public sign after I completed section 1?

Here’s my understanding: you don’t need to have the I-9 form notarized. I am a notary and also an employer and I use the I-9 form all the time for new employees. All of the “swearing to” and “attesting to” language on the form simply means that the employer signing it is vouching for the documents and the person the best they can. It’s just simply signed by the employer that you did your due diligence to make sure the person is legal to work in the US. No notary public is needed.
