The most common places for installation are… 1) Just after the chute (never install under a chute) 2) Just before the belt goes from horizontal to incline, (noting to install the tracker before the belt lifts off the troughing idlers when the belt is running empty) or just after this area on the incline. 3) Just before the head pulley, (noting to install the tracker before transitional idlers) 4) Or just at the area where belt misalignment occurs.
