Where is Zion located?
Zion National Park is located just outside the town of Springdale, Utah. Park roads are open to vehicles throughout the year, but from April-October, Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is closed to private vehicles. *Visitors MUST take the Park’s shuttle. Zion Canyon shuttle is FREE and operates daily from April – October. Highway 9 through to US 89 is always open. The Kolob Canyon section of the Park is accessible through I-15, 18 miles south of Cedar City.
