Where Is Weybridge?
Weybridge is a town which is located in town of Elmbridge district. It is located in Surrey in South East England. To the north of Weybridge is the River Thames located at the mouth of the River Wey. The town of Weybridge got its name from the River of Wey. Before the year 1537 Weybridge was simply used to cross rivers. Sometime later it had turned into the location for the Oatlands Palace for King Henry VIII. After the palace was demolished in the year 1650, the bricks of its walls were used built the new Wey Navigation. However the site of the palace is now occupied by the Oatlands Park Hotel. The very famous race circuit and aerodrome of the Brooklands is also located here. The total population of Weybridge is around 19,500.
