Where is U of A located in Edmonton?
The U of A is located centrally in the city of Edmonton, which is the capital city of the province of Alberta in Western Canada. Edmonton is a modern city of over one million people. The U of A’s main campus, the North Campus, is minutes from downtown Edmonton and the historic Old Strathcona district, giving students great access to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and more. The campus is right on the banks of the North Saskatchewan river, where students can enjoy beautiful parks and multi-use trails. There are five U of A campuses: North Campus, South Campus, Campus Saint-Jean, Augustana Campus, and Enterprise Square.
