Tulane University is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1834 it was founded as a medical college. During the Hurricane Katrina in 2005 most of the college was closed for the second time in it history. It is considered on of the top 50 schools in the United States. The co-founder of Yahoo, David Filo, went to Tulane.
