Where Is The Worlds Most Venomous Snake Found?
The world’s venomous snake is believed to be the Inland Taipan or Fierce Snake as it is commonly known, found in Australia. The snake can grow to a length of 3 meters (about 10 ft). It is mainly found in Central Australia and feeds primarily on mice; the venom of an Inland Taipan is believed to be 50 times more toxic than the Indian Cobra and injects enough venom in a single bite that could kill a 100 humans. However contrary to its name the taipan is a docile snake that would not attack unless provoked; people who have been bitten by the snakes have been those who have tried to capture the snake. The snake is brownish in color and changes its skin patterns according to the season. Timely administration of anti venom has saved the lives of a number of people who have been bitten by a taipan.
