Where is the TNT TV series “The Closer” filmed?
The Closer is filmed in Los Angeles. Season One and Two were made at Raleigh Studios, on Melrose Ave. across from Paramount Studios. It appears they may have moved to the Warner Brothers Studios lot in Burbank for Season Three. Each episode involves roughly seven days of studio shooting and two days on location. LA locations used in The Closer are both accurately chosen and very authentic; when the show identifies a location, they generally film where they say they are. On the other hand, the Las Vegas scenes in the Season Two opener were filmed in the casino at the Hollywood Park racetrack.
