Look under the power steering, at the front on the passenger side. It is underneath it, in a very awkward spot. The hose comes down from rad then attaches to a 90 degree elbow, which turns up. Sitting on top of this elbow is the thermostat. You have to drain your coolant first (look in your manual for how to do that). Then, there is a a bracket sitting below the elbow (which makes it impossible to reach without removing first). Remove or at least loosen the bracket, and the elbow will have to bolts holding it tight. You have to remove both bolts, and then the elbow will be released. If replacing, make sure you put a new gasket in there. Also, you’ll notice (I couldn’t figure it out on my own for some reason) that the new gasket will be cylindrical, while your old one will have a flat top to it. It’s flat because of the pressure from the elbow pushing against it. It was a pain in the ass to replace such an otherwise mechanically simple piece.
