The Stork Exchange is located at 68 Stramongate, Kendal, LA9 4BD. You will find us between Stramongate News & Stramongate Chip Shop (Opposite Daniel Grays Hair Salon) Q: What items can I offer for sale?A: You can offer any child related items for sale: toys and books, children’s’ fancy dress, nursery furniture & equipment, baby/children’s clothing, maternity wear etc. Experience has shown that the following items do not sell well: knitwear, babygros, underwear, socks, footwear (except Wellies) and soft toys and therefore will only be accepted in exceptional condition. Larger items always in demand are Cots, Strollers, Baby Carriers, Stair-gates, Car Seats and Travel Cots. Q: What do I do if I want to sell items? A: Decide on the items you wish to sell (maximum of 30 items per month). Clothes should be washed & ironed, other goods should be clean, complete and in good working order (with batteries where necessary).
