Where is the steel reinforcing ?

Good question. We use rectangular steel tubing in and around the tailgate area. This adds strength for our operable tailgate and also reinforces the rear body mounting area. We put drilled and tapped plates in the door post areas for mounting the doors and door latch pins. In the Bronco, we also provide a steel cowl section for mounting and fastening the dash, hood and swing pedals. We provide steel in other parts such as the hood, radiator supports, tailgates, liftgates, windshield frames and doors.
